Car Vacuum Cleaner

I have!

My son threw up in my car seat. People told me to mix baking soda with water and pour on to the cloth seat where the puke is (after the original puke is wiped off). after it is dry, vacuum the seat.

My question is, is that good enough to clean my seat? will i still be able to smell the odor after it? Should i spray a glass cleaner/febreeze after it is vacuumed?

For Christmas, I would like to get my boyfriend a really good shop vac for his car. He is very detailed in cleaning his car and our house vacuum just isn’tt cutting it anymore. He uses one at his parents house, but I think it would be nice to have one at home too.
So, primarily it will be used for his car.. we don’t have a shop or shed or anything.

I dont have much money, so anything under 0 would be great… Granted, I know that there are limits in such price range…
Anything with a high HP is what Im looking for. Gallons are not too much of a issue, just so long as it has good suction to it

I was stupid and didn’t empty out the dirty water from my carpet shampooer before I put it in my car, and on the ride home it tipped over. I tried soaking up as much of the water as possible with a towel, but my car still reeks of concentrated cat odor (pee, vomit, etc.). I’ve tried spraying it with a mixture of water and vinegar, and I took it to the local car vacuum place and vacuumed it out, but nothing is working. With the water all seeped into the seats, how can I get rid of the nasty odor? I can’t afford to take it to a professional to have it cleaned out.

I have a 2010 Charger and I’ve only had it since July, but the air in it already stinks. I take good care of it and vacuum, clean and polish every 2-3 weeks. I don’t understand why it smells, but I’m pretty sure it’s the air filter that is smelly. Every time I turn on the car it stinks for a few minutes then goes away. and it’s the kind of smell you can’t ignore… How do I get rid of the problem?

I think I have a vacuum leaking my car and I was wondering which is better and any other tips for finding a vacuum leak are welcome.

I have a 1997 Honda accord ex. I was washing my car, cleaning the inside of my car. Whiling cleaning the inside of my car, I had the car engine on listening to music and A/C because the weather is still hot. Cleaned the car for about 1-2 hours. After I was finished wiping the inside windows and vacuuming the car, the alarm stopped working. The one thing stopped blinking and I was unable to lock my door from my remote. What happened?

A family member was gracious enough to buy a cheap replacement car for me, but the inside REEKS of cigarette smoke! I can barely stand it! I am severely allergic to cigarette smoke, and not only was the smell horrendous, but the smoke residue/smell was setting off my asthma…

As soon as I got it home I sprayed the seats with Febreeze, the used both Oust air sanitizer and Citrus Fresh brand industrial air deodorizer/smell eliminator… but the smoke OVERPOWERED all THREE of them!

I did some research and people try a lot of things:
Coffee grounds in a sock left in the car
Bowl of orange rinds left for a couple days
Bowl of distilled white vinegar left for a couple days.
Boxes of baking soda and/or scrubbing sprinkle/vacuum up carpet cleaner.
I even heard of lighting coffee grounds on fire to get rid of the smell..

What worked for you? What didn’t?

I plan to clean the car thoroughly, including the dash/headboard… I just want tips that worked for you.

I am 15 years old and trying to start my own car detailing business. I plan to include vacuuming, interior cleaning, window cleaning, car washing, and car waxing.
I haven’t quite decided on the price per car, but I’m thinking around for a normal sized sedan, and around – for a large SUV, van, etc.

I think I have found a decent mini-shop vac on craigslist for about .
What I am looking for are some good, but cheap waxing and washing products. It would be great if there was a product that was a 2 in 1 wash and wax.

In some cases I’m going to need to bring my own hose as well, seeing as there’ll be people who don’t own a hose.

The main trouble about this is that my only transportation is my bike, except when I can get a friend or parent to drive me in their free time.

So if ya’ll could give some tips, products, or just share personal experience, that would be great.

my car is filthy but i hate wasting water and money. which is the most economical and eco-friendly way to wash, vacuum and clean it?

I just got mine cleaned at this car wash place and I had to spend an extra hour cleaning it myself. The car wasn’t vacuumed properly, there still was some dust on the dash, etc. Maybe I’m too fussy or something. I called the manager to get a re-wash.

My boyfriend is celebrating his birthday on the 3rd of September. I’m thinking of giving him a portable vacuum cleaner for his car. But I don’t know where to buy and how it would cost me. I heard of a Black and Decker brand. Does anyone know about this?

I’ve noticed like one or two in my car one time and the last time I used my car was Wednesday and there were none that I noticed.
I sprayed a whole bottle of ant spray, let it set, then cleaned down my car with armoural car cleaner and vacuumed it out.

What should I do now if they come back?
How did they get in there?

In 1960, my grandmother’s washing machine cleaned better than today’s eco-friendly piece of shyt washing machines that use 2 ounces of water and leave your clothes covered with bacteria.

I accidentally spilled varsol on the carpet in my car. How do I properly clean it? I already soaked up as much as I could with paper towels and used a powerful shop vac to vacuum the carpet but the car still reaks of varsol and the air inside the car is barely breathable even with all the windows open. What can I do to properly remove the varsol? Is rug shampooing safe?

Pet hair attachments for the vacuum cleaner are ineffective and all my clothes have fine black hairs sticking to them.

okay so i am trying to clean out my car and i would like ot break down the bissell vacuum cleaner into a handheld cleaner so that i can clean out the tight spaces in my car! how can i break it down?….and does it break down??? here is info. about the vacuum:
